Texas Lawyer: What it is?

This is the first in a four part series blog post spotlighting the Texas Lawyer website.

Texas Lawyer connects more than 16,300 members of the Lone Star legal community with information, opportunity, and challenge. They are the only independent institution dedicated solely to covering the Texas legal market. On a daily basis, Texas Lawyer’s award-winning team of editors and reporters deliver breaking news, in-depth investigators, opinion, practice guides and the most timely and accurate caselaw available anywhere.

On the Texas Lawyer website, you can view several topics such as Top News, Editor’s Picks, The Magazine, Most Viewed, and Recent Decisions.

In the middle of the home page, you can view the Top News happening in the Texas Legal community. On the left side of the home page, the Editor’s Picks section that has articles that the Texas Lawyer editors find significant or important. On the right side of the home page, you can find the most viewed articles.

Below is a view of the home page. The green boxes indicate where the Top News, Editor’s Picks, and Most Viewed can be found.

On the top left side of the home page, you can view different sections available on the Texas Lawyer website. The available sections include News, EnergyBuzz, Lawyers in the News, and Decision.

Access to Texas Lawyer is available through the Texas Tech Law Library website under the Electronic Databases tab.
